Over the past few months, I have noticed a definite rise in requests for tree surveys around Northern Ireland in connection with property purchase and leasing.

These range from surveys for planning applications for new builds and mortgage reports requested by the bank.

A tree survey can raise any safety issues with the tree population before the deal is complete and may save money in the long run.

Issues such as heave and subsidence can also be potentially detected at this stage.
